The temperatures were constantly rising and falling any more but, Alula was sure the coldness was going to stay. The fall rains that came usually left a cold front, which was quickly followed by a warm front. One day you'd need your jacket, the next shorts. It was quite annoying. However, Alula was absolutely positive that it wasn't going to get warmer any more. She had in fact consulted with the birds, who were migrating. If they were migrating, it was going to stay cold. She always had her jacket on now. That thing had kept her warm for four years. Let's make it five. She, Sam, and Dad had gone out to get food for the group. Not that she could complain. Well. She could. Considering staying inside most of the time... she had lost her tolerance. You could usually find her standing right next to Dean, finding him to be a very good heater. Well, today was no different. As they pulled up to the bunker, Alula peered out the window. Oh. Sleet. It was wet outside from last night's rain and apparently it was cold enough to sleet. Yes. Alula personally kinda liked it. However, she had her dislikes too. Due to not having discovered Hot Chocolate yet, Alula's only source of warmth was blankets (in which she would bury herself in), Dean, and occasionally Benedict. She opened the door of the impala and was greeted by Fawnpelt slipping out to help carry in food. Not to mention the familiar sound of Kishan walking near by. The sleet bothered her slightly and she pulled her jacket farther onto her shoulders. Something out of the corner of her eye moved and she jerked her head around to look. She saw a flash of something brown, tan, and grey. Something fluffy. Now, being a child, she wanted to investigate. In which she did. She moved towards the bushes, finding Kishan wasn't around. A new scent hit her nose and she was immediately interested. It was new and smelt amazing. She crouched and the bushes rustled. She blinked. A head appeared, not unlike that of a cat, and she jumped slightly. It peered up at her with wide brown eyes and she smiled, reaching a hand out. It shied away aa bit before reaching up to touch it's nose to her. Judging from its head, she assumed it was a male. Awesome! He scurried out, revealing markings that were like the coffee beans on the Folders cans. They were grey. His pelt was brown bit his underbelly tan. His legs were dark chocolate and he was all in all cute. Wet, but fluffy and cute. She scooped him up and hi didn't disagree, instead making a small sound not unlike a cat. She smiled. "Hey there little guy!" He smelt amazing too! She stood, still holding the creature close, one arm tucked under him and the other on his side to keep him from falling. His fluffy tail twitched as she approached her dad with the widest smile. "Can we keep him?"

The fridge had gotten low, so they had went out to restock. The rising and falling temperature was quite annoying, Sam had to agree, but he knew that soon enough it would stay cold. Fawn and Lark has stayed to watch the kids, it was a good system plus if anything went wrong they had the fastest form of communication around. Luckily nothing happened, but Alu did happen to find something when they got back.
Sam had been focused on Fawn and missed the movement that got Alu's attention. Dean however saw her going towards the bushes. He hadn't brought his gun, what if it was something dangerous? "Alu..." he cautioned, hoping the message got to her. However it didn't, and soon enough she came to him holding a- wait what was that?
Dean looked at Sam with a "can you believe this?" Face. Apparently he could, because the male came over with the look on his face he usually had when he was about to go nerd. Oh yay. "I've read about those before. They're Cofficats, totally harmless. They smell great too." he started. "You don't normally see those around here, something must of driven it to move the poor guy." Sam said. Dean had a bewildered face, not believing what he was hearing. So he cut Sam off. "What the hell are you talking about Sam?" he asked. "It's a Cofficat." Sam replied. "Yeah I got that, but how do you know what a Cofficat is?" Dean asked, still caught up in his world of disbelief. "I came across an article about them once. I thought it was fake, but it turns out they're real." the taller male replied, gesturing to Alu's Cofficat as proof. Dean sighed and shook his head, turning back to face Alu. Oh right, she wanted to keep it. "No. We already have a hellhound and satan's daughter hanging around, we don't need something else. I've reached the quota on taking things in." Dean said. He didn't know that what he said would probably hurt Pebble, he was just using that as a reason to not keep the Cofficat thing. Smooth move Dean.

Helpful ol' Pebble had been helping carry groceries in, considering she wanted to prove herself. It also was kinda habit. And a game. She loved to play the "how many bags can I carry at one time" game. So far 10. However, Dean's words caused her to pause on the way back into the bunker. She flinched, feeling unwanted again. "I'm not that bad." She called him out on it before continuing on.
Alu snorted, rubbing the Cofficat between the ears. "But dad! Look at him!" She held out out towards him and he peered at the man. After a moment of studying him, it squeaked at him and gave a toothy grin before Alu pulled it back and continued to hold it. "He's friendly dad! Look at him. He's all alone too!" She said, pitching her voice higher in a beg. "Sam even said it; he isn't from around here the poor guy." She added, widening her eyes in the puppy look. Huh. Exactly like Sam's pup eyes. And since she wasn't getting much sleep, the bags under her eyes added on.
Fawn was quite amused by its smell as she walked past with some grocies. "Come on Dean, let the girl keep it." She said, offering a small smile.

The cuteness of the Cofficat didn't effect the Winchester. He didn't care if was cute or the ugliest thing on the planet- he didn't want it. It could be dangerous, it might not be alone, plus it was another mouth to feed. Sure it smelled good but that wasn't enough for Dean. He was outvoted, but he didn't care. "No, go let it be free in the bushes or something. Maybe we can send it to its hometown in coffeeville so it isn't bothering us. We're not keeping it, and that's final." Dean said. He himself turned around and went to carry in groceries, giving Sam the perfect chance to act out his plan he had quickly developed to smuggle it in. Sam would take a step or two(depending on how far away he was) to the presumably disheartened Alu with a mischievous look on his face. "Give me the Cofficat, I've got an idea." he said, reaching out to take the creature. He could smuggle it in with a bag of groceries. "While I sneak it in, you go look like you're letting it go back where you found it." he continued, keeping his voice low so that Dean wouldn't hear it, and tried to make it look like he was comforting her when Dean walked by them. Sam wanted Alu to keep the Cofficat, and Dean wasn't going to stop him.

Disheartened wasn't the word for it. Her head had dropped and she sighed. However, Sam came forward and spoke his plan. Best. Uncle. Ever. She nodded, carefully handing the friendly creature to Sam before crossing her arms to make it seem as if she was still carrying it. With this, she would turned around keep her head hanging, crouching near the bushes and "letting it go." Oh hey. A little help from Kishan's swaying tail and it was a convincing freeing of the creature. She would continue the act, shuffling over to grab some grocies.

She handed the creature over and he took it in his arms, trying to conceal it by tucking it by his elbow. It fit quite nicely actually, even if it was small. Then he went over to the trunk while Alu went to "let the Cofficat go". Sam gently put the Cofficat down and looked at it momentarily. It was really cute, smelled good to. Good thing they picked up coffee grounds at the store. It was always good for children to have some sort of pet, boy how he had wanted a dog when he was a kid. Why couldn't Alu have the Cofficat? It's not like it could eat much anyways. Sam would pick up the small creature in his arms again, tucking it into his jacket this time. It would probably be uncomfortable for a bit, but it would be worth it. It didn't even make too big a bulge, easily concealable. He just hoped it understood. Then Sam would grab some groceries, hanging his arm a bit so it was over the Cofficat. It wasn't even that hard to smuggle in. He walked in the bunker as Dean was walking out, and the other didn't even notice the creature concealed in Sam's jacket. Alula 1, Dean 0.

Perfect. The creature seemed perfectly happy quietly sitting in his jacket, finding it be quite warm compared to the outside world. Alu collected a bag of groceries and shot Dean a saddened look as she continued to keep the act up. Inside, she was grinning. But right now, she needed to remain sad and pitful. So she did. She shuffled into the bunker, finding these were one of the last of the grocies. As soon as she was out of Dean's view and earshot, she giggled, quickly skirting down the stairs to catch up to Sam. "He didn't notice a darn thing!" She giggled quietly, still in the risk of Dean noticing. This was beautiful!

Sam grinned at her. She was happy, and that made it totally worth it. Being an uncle wasn't as hard as he had thought it was going to be. He set the groceries in the counter and would pull out the Cofficat, attempting to be gentle with the small creature. The last thing they needed now was to squish it. "Take it up to your room and make sure to close the door when you leave. I'll bring up some water for it and we'll find out what it eats later." Sam instructed, allowing her to take the coffee scented creature from his arms. The smell would be a bit harder to cover up, but they'd get the hang of it. Dean's footsteps would be heard coming towards the door so he would usher her to go quickly, preparing to distract Dean if needed.

Alula would set her groceries on the counter before taking her new pet. With this, she would speed walk towards her bedroom. As soon as she entered, she would close the door and set the creature on her bed, ignoring Lucifer for now. He was usually on the corner of her bedroom. She didn't bother check today. Instead, she smoothed the cofficat's fur before leaving it to leave. She shut the door and shuffled back to the kitchen, going to help put stuff away. She smelt of coffee and new scent she didn't know of, which would later be known as hot chocolate.

The creature Alu was carrying caught the archangel's interest, and he shifted his position a bit and said "What do you have this time?" but was promptly ignored. Then she walked back out of the room and he would try to catch her attention again with "Ok come on don't leave me! It's lonely when you aren't here." and gave a pout when she still ignored him. Well, now he guessed he had a new buddy. The Cofficat. "Well hey there little guy. Will you be nice to little old Satan?" he said, walking over to brown creature and reaching out to maybe pick it up. That was, assuming it didn't run off. It did smell nice as the others had said, he had to admit.
And Alu would of left in time so Sam didn't have to distract Dean. The male had wondered where she was, but the question was quickly answered as she walked back in. Sam was putting away groceries as well. Dean had nothing to suspect, except for the lingering scent of coffee and hot chocolate, which could be easily covered for if needed. "Is it gone?" Dean asked, taking out the contents of a bag to prepare to put away.

The cat like creature could see Lucifer. Almost every animal could. Odd enough. Not to mention he probably made himself see able. It reached out its neck to touch it's nose to him before allowing itself to be picked up.
Alula would simply nod. Now that most of the excitement was flooding out of her system, she had returned back to her regular tired self. She dragged herself about putting things away. "Yeah." She would mutter. It was quickly followed by a stifled yawn. Hey. Maybe it would be one of those days she was so tired nothing could stop her from sleep. She hoped. If that was the case she would more than happily trudge to her room and flop onto her bed. Wait. She had the cofficat. She groaned.

Hey it was friendly. Didn't meet very many friendly people these days. It was more friendly than the winchesters. He smiled, happily taking the Cofficat in his arms. It was quite soft too. Luci would start rocking it around, transitioning into a dance of sorts and taking the Cofficat along with him. Then he had an idea, but decided to wait until Alu came into the room before carrying it out. Her face would be amazing to see.
Dean would give a small not, satisfied. However he noticed her yawn and then her groan, and that got him curious if that was the right word. Worried wouldn't be the right word either, maybe a middle ground. "Everything ok?" Dean asked her, looking over at her. That wasn't normal.

The cofficat personally didn't care for much, just kinda played dead as it was carried around. The creature literally had no craps to give about the world. Just kinda chill.
Alula's skin would jump at his sudden input. She rolled her shoulders, popping them as she put things away. "Yeah. Just... tired." She answered him. Something knew rose in her mind. "Where's Benedict?" She would quietly ask. The least he could do was take her place. She felt ready to pass out at any moment. Dang. Lucifer. Why didn't he let her sleep? She shivered for a second, mind wandering to horrid images.

He was happy with that. Though it was fun when people got scared, but this was fun too. Just dancing around the room, doing his own weird thing. He would dance his way around the room, eventually covering all of it. When he was done with that, he would jump onto the bed and hold the little guy out. Maybe he could get her to hear him from here. So he stilled, clearing his throat before yelling "NAAAANTS IGONYAMAAAA BAGITHI BABA." and waited the appropriate time before continuing with "SITHI UHHMM INGONYAM. NANTS INGONYAMA BAGITHI BABA. SITHI UHHMM INGONYAMA." it was part of the main soundtrack from lion king. It had a silly translation, but humans seemed to be obsessed with it. Then, he'd go to a more familiar tune. Luci would stretch the Cofficat out farther, wondering how far he could go before Alu barged in. "ITS THE CIRCLE OF LIIIIIIIIIIIFE."
Dean knew that she hadn't been getting much sleep, and now that she was tired hey that'd be a good way to get her to sleep. It didn't matter the time, he just wanted her to get some sleep. Dean also didn't know that a certain someone was preventing her from doing so, but he was trying his best. "Hey why don't you go get some sleep? Seems like you could use it." he said, his mind only now wondering where the mentioned male was.
As to where Benny was, well it wasn't good. He had been out playing when the winchesters had gotten home, oblivious to them getting home and to Alu's find. Though the sound of many feet scrabbling on the ground would catch his attention, and not a moment too soon. That's when he saw them. The crazed and aggressive Cofficats, their teeth crooked and fashioned like a saber tooth tigers, their claws long and unkempt, their fur ratted and tangled. His eyes widened with fear but before you could say 'baluladict' they swarmed him. He hit the ground and was helpless as they all too quickly pinned him down, several of them jumping into his face to prevent him from screaming. And then they dragged him off. Benny wanted to do something, he really did, but they weighed too much collectively for him to do anything. Eventually his head would his a stone rather hard and he'd pass out, but until then he was left to wait in terror as they took him. Nice going Benny.

Alula would have happily gone to sleep. She offered her father a smile, seemingly accept it despite knowing the truth. Then, the truth spilled. The screaming from her room told her exactly what was happening and she groaned, spinning on her heel before trudging out. "Yeah. Sounds nice, dad." She muttered, dragging her feet to her room. She didn't barge in, only slowly opening the door to find Luci holding the creature out and screaming some random words she didn't understand. Could she... not get a break? All she wanted was a break, a day to herself! Something, anything! She sniffled, threatening to cry as she closed the door behind her and made a very slow and weak move to swipe her pet from him.
