//can we just dub this my board now.
Dean and Sam had discovered something Disoceries were a good thing. Alula liked discoveries.
So, she decided to dive deeper. It had something to do with Dogons, so of course Benedict joined her little band wagon.
"Hey. Look at this." She said, pointing out a newspaper. An island of Dogons? Alright, that was new!
"PEBBLE YOU USELESS THING C'MERE." THE archangel mixed appeared, curious what they wanted. "Take us there." Alula stated, pointing to the news paper. Tired, the creature snapped her fingers and POOF. Benny and Alula were gone. ---
When Alula recovered from the fall damage, she immediately noticed the ant on her arm. That's because it bit her. Giving a small screech, she patted it off before going to help Benedict up, noting the forest. "Gosh. You'd think we ended up in the jungle." Which was correct, but due to her being a blonde, she couldn't come up with a smarter comment. Her green gaze searched around, chills being sent up her back by the fact they were alone in this forest.
//HAHAHA I WOULD HAVE DONE MORE bUT RUSHED

Benedict was not used to archangel travel. So when he got there, his knees gave out and he fell to the ground with a thus, wishing he had thought to change forms. Her screech caused his head to jerk up- which was a bad idea as he promptly pulled a muscle there, and payed his head back down wincing. Then Alula came and he gladly took the help to get up, shakily standing on his knees. "I didn't know this island had a jungle on it, not in the present day?" he spoke, confused.

Intelligence just kinda out the window as she rubbed her arm where the ant had bit her, she shrugged. Ow Ow Ow ow. Oh great. It was bleeding! What type of ant did that?! She gave a small almost doggish whimper (obviously picked it up from Benedict, she's weird like that) and looked around. It wasn't bleeding bleeding. It'd scab ovrr. Right now, what mattered to her, was her ability to figure out where they were... "No... if it did have a jungle in modern day, it'd be less dense than this anyways." She stated. Gears working as she started to put the puzzle pieces together, she gave a grunt before nodding to herself. "Then we're in the past." She decided. It had not yet clicked they were in the past with no means of home.

"I thought that time travel was impossible?" in the past? That couldn't be right. Benedict knew very little about archangels and their powers, so to him time travel was a thing from that bright box his sister was obsessed with. Science fiction. Fake. A confused look spread across his face- he wasn't so fast as to catch on. He was lucky that he had alula with him. "How can we be in the past?"

"Archangels have interesting powers, you know. Lucifer taught me all too well... and apparently they have an amazing sense of time." She spoke, voice getting quieter at the end. She shuddered, remember when she and Benedict were captured and tortured. She had used Lucifer to get a grasp of how long they had been out and missing. He hadn't even stepped or teleported outside, just knew. She looked up, clearing her head of her thoughts. "C'mon. Let's see if we can find a way out of here." She mumbled, about to step forward and leave before realizing Benedict was still a thing that existed. She looked back at him, asking him to shift with just her eyes.

Wait did Pebble do this? Did She intentionally send them to the past? He looked at Alu with wide eyes, his mind trying to comprehend the idea. Why in the world would pebble do that? "I'm confused..." he muttered. Then she gave him that look, and unsure of why she wanted him to shift he would do it anyways. Once the process of going to his dogon form was finished- something that took hours of practice mind you- he would gaze up at his girlfriend and think now what?

She was glad to find that her lanky boyfriend understood her enough to realize what she was asking with just a single look with her emerald optics. Unable to control herself, she walked over to him, affectionately rubbing the fur along his neck and the bridge of his nose before lightly pressing her forehead to his. Then, she stepped back before moving to the side, giving him enough time to think about what she was doing before she gave a powerful leap (as short legs are impossible to deal with). She winced a bit as she used her bad shoulder to hoist herself onto the broad and well muscled back of the brute. Once on, she settled, finding he was still narrowing enough for her to swing her legs out towards the sides (he was about the size of a small earth pony now, no?) and hang on with just her knees. She took a clump of his fur in her hands, making sure she had something to cling to before leaning forward in her seat, clicking her tongue to give the signal to him to take off. "If we get above the place, we can see where we are." She offered and quick explanation.

The rub felt good, being part dog, and he had to admit it helped him relax and helped his train of thought calm down. He wasn't the best in these sorts of situations. He let out a small sigh, simply standing there as she climbed onto his back. She got into the position he was familiar with, so he knew that she was going to have him fly. Benny wasn't quite sure why yet. Though she clicked her tongue and he knew she was ready for takeoff, offering a quick explanation. Oh that made sense. His biggest concern was that with all these trees, how in the world was he going to get above the canopy? Maybe climbing? Well Alula always seemed to know what she was doing, so he trusted her. The male would look up, trying to find an opening in the treetops. The least cluttered way he could see was a little bit away and would be tough to make sure she didn't get hurt. Well, she told him to fly so he would do that. Benedict gave a bit of a running start, and then would give a powerful flap of his wings to lift them up, flapping as many times as needed to get them gaining altitude. It took quite a bit of effort, as always, but he was right on course so that was good. Soon enough he would reach his target, and he made sure they went through when his wings were up to protect her from the branches as much as possible. The male was tempted to look behind him to see if Alula was ok, but he knew he had to stay focused on the path ahead of him, at least until they got to the free air.

There was nothing like watching an animal look for something. It always gave her a thrill, a realization. She sondered, knowing that even he had human thoughts. And, he appeared to had found his opening. She felt everything, his muscles tightening and relaxing upon moving. She rocked with his run, leaning forward a bit before feeling his wings and spread and start flapping. Her stomach dropped as he gave the leap and she instinctively buried her face into the longer fur of his neck, closing her eyes and trusting him enough to carry her safely. She knew he would. They'd done this enough times.
As soon as the feeling of a few leaves being taken off and the sound of open air reached her ears, she pulled back and opened her eyes. She leaned over a bit, peering over the broad shoulder of Benedict to look down at the island. The wind rushing at her face was glorious and briefly, just briefly, she closed her eyes before petting Benedict, rewarding him. Using the signals they had learnt (left leg for right, right leg for left) and developed together, she steered him a bit just too look around. And that's when she noticed it. They weren't the only ones dominating the skys. It was only a few yards below them, grazing the tree tops. A creature simular to Benny in body shape. And, from what she could see, a rider. "Benedict!" She shouted above the rushing wind to get his attention to look down. Surely he could see it too?

Once they were steady in the open air, and only once he was sure of that, would he dare a glance back. She seemed to be unharmed, which was good. The underside of his wings had some scrapes from the trees but nothing that interfered with his flying. He was happy with the pet, knowing it was a reward for doing well. That made him happy, knowing he was making Alu happy. He would obediently turn and twist on the air as she told him too, being careful to maintain and steady flight so she wouldn't fall off. They had flown together plenty of times but Benedict was always careful. They were too high up for him to take chances, if she fell off she would be dead if he couldn't catch her. He had learned to keep a good eye out when flying, but when Alu noticed the other dogon he would be looking ahead to make sure there wasn't something random in the air for them to crash into. Though she was close enough to his ears for the call rock be heard, and he promptly looked down. Wait a minute.
By now, the there dogon and it's rider would be aware of their presence surely. Their shadow would of alerted him, and his wings weren't the quietest thing in the world. This caused nervousness to channel through him. He remembered having siblings who were also dogons, but none of them looked like that. This wasn't Omorose or Nicholas, this was someone else. He was unaware that others of his species existed, surely they weren't aggressive? Surely they wouldn't harm them?

The rider and dogon below were aware of them. How'd she know? They were chasing their shadow a bit. And suddenly, the rose. She could hear the wings flapping from up here and already knew that the dogon was way bigger than Benedict. A full grown dogon. She sucked in a breath, tightening her grip on Benedict in fear as the Grey creature rose. And suddenly, it was beside them. It was huge and she began to wonder how she would cope with Benedict being that big. The rider was standing confidently on the creature's back. They also sported some kind of interesting gear. A leather chest plate with what appeared to be a hand made shirt underneath, fingerless leather gloves, regular hand made jeans, and a mask. She realized it was to help protect them from the wind and upon looking closer at the dogon, she noticed a saddle and reins, leading to a bitless bridle fit for a dogon. The person seemed absolutely fascinated with her, tilting their head. Maybe it was because she was riding Benedict with no gear. They pointed down, indicating they wanted to land and upon looking down, she noticed a clearing. With that, the larger dogon sunk below them, going in for a landing. Making the decision, she signaled Benedict to land with them, preparing for the drop.

He could sense Alula's fear and was honestly scared himself. He wanted to frantically fly away and get the hell out of there, but Alu wasn't giving him that command so he had enough control to not. His flight did however become more erratic and fearful, and he let out a whimpering noise. The male's eyes were glued to the other dogon as it flew up, stayed for a minute, and then flew back down. Then Benny felt the signal to land, and would begin to glide down in a gentle circle. With the fear he didn't quite trust himself in a full out dive, and he'd much rather be slow than dead.

The landing always bothered her. She hung on tighter as Benedict landed, nearly sliding off per usual. She slid off once he was stable, eyes settling on the Grey dogon before noticing their rider. They took of their mask, revealing a rather pretty girl, a few years older than Alula herself, with long, braided red hair and interesting marks etching around her eyes and face. "Who are you and how did you get one of our dogons*?" She asked, eyes settling on Benedict before Alula. "You speak english?" Alula's eyes lit up which earned a cold stare from the older. "Who are you and how did you get one of our dogons?" She repeated, more sternly. "Uh... er... I'm Alula and I'm afraid you're mistaken... this is my dogon." She stated which earned a rumbling growl from the Grey one before them. Alula stumbled back, pressing against Benedict for protection. The red haired girl sneered. "Lies! We are the only ones with dogons!" She snapped.
*She believes Benny is one of theirs, however she has not seen his eyes. None of her tribe have blue eyes and they consider a blue eyed dogon ancient and wise. Anybody with the possession to control one is automatically seen as a goddess/god.

Benedict would watch the interaction, on edge a bit but passive. Right up until the grey one growled at Alula. No, that was a threat. He wouldn't stay stand for that. She would press against him and he would puff up, spreading his wings out as far as they would stretch and standing as tall as he could to make himself appear bigger, despite not being bigger than the other dogon. His lips curled back in a snarl and his gaze snapped quickly to the other dogon, his emotions clear in his eyes and body language. Then the older girl snapped at Alula and his jaws would snap in her direction in what was clearly a threat, him trying to say "back off before I hurt you", though he didn't actually bite her. This would likely put his eyes on full display, as he made no move to hide them. Surprisingly, or not, Benny got incredibly defensive when Alula was threatened.

The other girl stumbled back this time, eyes widening as she quickly noticed the creature's eyes. The grey dogon already had her head bowed, muzzle pressed to the earth. The red head dropped to the ground, bowing in respect. "M-my Goddess! I am sorry for mistaking you for somebody else! Do unto me as your wrath desires," She stammered. Alula raised a brow. "Goddess...? Oh! I mean, I, the Goddess Alula, will spare your life for the sake of you correcting yourself." Her voice tried to hold power but it was an obvious fail. Her shoulders slouched. "Lady I am no goddess. I'm just your average everyday girl with a dogon." She gave in and the red girl looked up, eyes wide with both confusion and fear. "B-but... you have the Sapphire Dogon! You must be a goddess... unless the gods have finally sent us our ease." She spoke, eyes lighting up as she stepped forward, scanning Alula's face. "The prophecy is true! We will finally be freed!" She smiled happily. "Freed from what?" Inquired Alu, brow raise. "My demi-god, you will free us from the terrible ruler, Ahnsay. She has a power like no other and has kept us imprisoned for years. You'll help us, right?" She asked, the Grey dogon stepping forward with a wine. Alula looked at Benedict.
