The mission to save Benedict had been freezing, considering the sleet. And when Alula got back, she had automatically made her way to the blankets. Now, it was quite a few days after, and she had attempted to stay up all night reading at the table. Lucifer failed at keeping her awake and she had fallen asleep. When she woke, she regretted falling asleep at the table. The book was open before her and the bunker was already starting to wake, the smell of coffee in the air, despite her pet, and some adults chatting quietly. She guessed Sam, Dean, and Fawn. She could be wrong. Her head was throbbing though and her nose stuffed up to the point she had to breath through her mouth. She learned to take shorter breathes; regular ones lead to a coughing fit. As she had one, her head ache got worse. Dang. This sucked. She was freezing despite probably running a fever and she wanted nothing more than to get to bed. Sure, she had a fleece blanket draped across her shoulders now, but it wasn't doing anything. Another coughing fit and she closed the book, laying her head on it. She didn't want to even try to get up. Alula was sick.

He had been back at the bunker for a bit now, but he was still recovering from the torture he had received. In fact, some of the worse wounds from the torture before that were still finishing up their healing. It sucked. He always seemed to get captured and tortured and have the day lights beat out of him. He was always sore and weak afterwards, once he even had to go to the hospital. Probably would of this time had Sam and Dean and Fawn not known how to patch him up. Stitches, painkillers, disinfectant, it had become all to familiar to him by now. He preferred it when Sam did it actually, he was always gentle and mindful of his pain and his big size made him feel protected from whatever had hurt him. Dean was more rough and all, and well Fawn didn't usually do it, but would provide assistance if needed. Fetch the cotton balls or hold something. It had become a routine to Benny now.
Benedict had wandered again, bored of just sitting around. Healing took a while and it was boring. He became restless all to easily. He got out of his bed where he was supposed to be sleeping, and went out to the main area. That's where he saw Alu laying her head in the book. Her hair was messy and she had a fleece over her shoulders, but she didn't look so good and that made him concerned. She looked miserable in fact. "Alu?" he asked, taking some more steps until he was by her side. "Are you ok?" the younger male added, the worry for her showing on his face.

Alula, in all her tired and messy glory, jumped and regretted it. Dang it Benny. Nice way to scare a girl. Sneak up on them. She had another coughing fit and held her fleece closer, sniffling. "No. No I'm not okay." Her voice was hoarse and she cleared her throat. Okay. That hurt terribly. "I think I'm dying." Her voice was plain and almost gone. She coughed again which was followed by a sneeze. God. She finally mustered up enough strength and push herself away from the table, rising and pulling the blanket around her so it was like a kind of evil robe, despite the sick girl in it. She looked miserable, she decided and she felt dizzy, reaching out one hand to support herself on the table. "Shouldn't you be in bed?" She added before sneezing again. She groaned.

She... wasn't ok? Oh no that couldn't be good. Tough and brave Alu? She'd hardly ever admit she wasn't ok, much less say she thought she was dying. This caused panic to rise up in Benedict. She was coughing and sneezing and oh StarClan no this wasn't good. She leaned on the table he noticed. Nonononononono. Did Dean no? Benny decided he didn't, because if he did Dean would surely be doing something more. He would know what to do and do more ham just stand there like an idiot.
"Deeeeaan!" he called out, scrambling over to where the older male was with a panicked look on his face. When he got over there Benny definitely had Dean's attention, and probably accidentally cut someone off, but oh well. "It's Alula, she's, she's sick! Like really sick!" He managed to force out. Then the panic and the worry for Alu got the best of him and he passed out on the floor, sprawled out on the wooden surface. Someone wasn't very strong. Whoops.

And Benny called for her father. It was quickly followed by him scrambling off and a loud thump. Had he fallen? Alula dared leave her table to shuffled after him. "Guys I'm not that- woAH!" Her sentence was cut off by her literally falling for Benny. Except, she had tripped on him and tumbled down, falling in a heap at Dean's feet. It didn't help her head ache and she wanted to throw up. She had a coughing fit and shuddered, pulling the blanket over her head in embarrassment and pain. Oh god this sucked. She felt too weak to even try to get up. Besides. The floor was very comfortable. Another coughing fit and she groaned, feeling as if her lungs were trying to escape.

Benny came running over and got his attention, getting out approximately 2.8 sentences before passing out. What he said definitely grabbed his attention, and then Alu would go over and trip over the male. She coughed and shuddered and pulled the blanket over herself- oh dear god Benny was right and he wasn't even exaggerating this time. Once she had got a sniffle and he had claimed that she was sick, which she really hadn't been. She was really sick. Why hadn't she said anything? How had Benny been the first to realize this? "Why didn't you tell me anything Alu?" he asked, bending down to attempt to pick her up. "Can someone come get Benny? He kind of passed out again." Dean called over his shoulder before returning his attention to his sick daughter. What was she sick with? He hoped this didn't mean they had to go to the hospital to help her, she hated hospitals and for a good reason too. He would only bring her there if he had to. Her not eating much and not sleeping much couldn't help either. A burger or something like that wouldn't be good for her being sick, maybe some toast?

And her father was worried now. She didn't even try to fight him as he picked her up, feeling dead. "I didn't want to bother you..." she muttered before coughing again. She shuddered again. "I'm not that bad." She added quietly, voice leaving her. Great. What was she even sick with? Shr hadn't ever been this sick. Ah this sucked. She peered around Dean to see Fawn taking care of Benedict. "He'll be okay?" She asked before coughing again.

Of course she didn't want to. It made sense but Dean didn't like the excuse. Not that bad? Not that bad his ass. Yeah that was totally going to fly with him. Though he wouldn't speak his thoughts as to not worry her. And of course she was worried about Benedict. "He'll be fine." Dean said. She hadn't thrown up anything yet, that was a good sign, but she would need to eat if she was to keep her strength up. He would hold her close to him, brushing a strand of hair out of her face without moving her around too much. "Hey lets get you some toast or something, see if you can keep it down." the male said gently, offering a warm smile. He was surely but surely getting the hang of the whole father thing, learning to be gentler and kinder with her. In all honesty Sam found it amusing when Dean acted all fatherly like this, being gentle and not harsh like he usually was. An experienced Hunter acting like this all because of an unexpected child. Well it was a better treatment than they had gotten he noted, and Dean didn't know what he was doing half the time. Want any help? Sam would telepathically ask Fawn, wanting to do more than just sit there.

Alula shook her head. "I'm not hungry." She muttered. She actually felt like she could eat nothing, that she already was full. It just wasn't there. She would probably push it around or ignore it, knowing her. Another dry cough and she whimpered this time, it actually hurting. She was tired. Very tired. Mentally cold aswell. Physically, she was running a high fever. She almost wanted to say she was fine... but she couldn't do that. Not in this situation. Fawn was one to simply say no. She's carried bigger.

Oh the poor thing. Pity would course through Dean as she spoke and coughed some more. She couldn't feel good at all, she must feel like crap. Dean would take her over to the couch, setting the sick female down in what he hoped to be a comfortable position. He also hoped what whatever she had wasn't contagious. "Hey you'll get better ok?" Dean would tell her, wanting to help her in any way he could. She had felt hot when he held her, and then he would reach out a hand to lay across her forehead to take her temperature. Fevers weren't good, it could lead to a lot of bad things actually. Hopefully he wouldn't have to dunk her in a bathtub full of freezing cold water and ice like he had to Sam once. "You get a bit of rest and then we'll go to the doctors office. It's a little bit like a hospital but it's also different, and the doctor will help you feel better again. Doctors are trained in that sort of thing. You can go to your room if you'd like." the male said, deciding that she was indeed running a fever and would call over his shoulder "Sam could you get Alula a damp rag or something?" it would help her feel better. Sam would reply to fawn with a simple ok and then replied to Dean, telling him that he would. The moose then would get up to get the requested item. Honestly Dean wanted to go to a doctor's office now, but Alu would probably appreciate some rest first.

Doctors? Hospitals? Alula automatically didn't want to go. Yet, she was much too tired to argue with him. She would rather stay here, screw the doctors. She never needed doctors on the streets; why now? She was really starting to miss her old free life. She had nothing to ever really worry about. She could get fokd, get water, shelter, everything. Here, she had grown soft compared to what she had been. She groaned, flipping over to lay on her side, burying herself in the blanket. "I don't want to go..." yeah, her reply was late, but all well. This pain was a new type... it was horrid.

She hadn't needed doctors on the streets because there were none. She probably wasn't aware of the miracles they could pull off, the wonderful services they could provide. At least Dean thought. "I know but it's for the best, they'll make you all better again." Dean said. Sam soon came back with a ice pack. "Here." he said, worry spreading across his features when he saw Alu. Oh no that wasn't good. He decided to let Dean do his thing and left the scene, Alu would probably want her space. Dean would then tell the girl "Here, this should help." and attempt to lay the ice pack on her head.

It was quite annoying how he was speaking to her. As if she were a toddler! She was four-freaking-teen! All well. He was trying... that's all that counted, right? She rolled over on her back so the ice pack could rest on her head comfortably. She blinked up at her father. Did she really have to go to the doctors?

She was fourteen yes, but she was sick. So that changed things in Dean's perspective. She was really sick and not even Alu was denying it. That had to say something. The doctors would know how to help her more than he did, it was their job to do so. They could help he was sure of it. So yes, yes they did have to go. He hoped they didn't send her to the hospital, but it was a possibility they might. Whatever was best for her, that's what mattered in the end right? That she was ok, that she was healthy again. That she was back to her normal self, spitting out sarcasm left and right and being the girl he had grown to know and love.

Yeah, that wouldn't be for a while, Dean. Alula hoped she didn't have to go to the hospital... they were dreaded to her. She coughed again, whimpering again. She almost wanted to complain, but what good would that do? He already knew she was sick. What was she even sick with? Ah ah. Laying on her back was not helping. She placed the ice-pack on her neck, rolling onto her side. Okay. Now that was better. She pulled the blanket up onto her shoulders, shuddering a bit. Pity she couldn't reach the remote. She'd be childish and watch some cartoons. SpongeBob or something.
