/well technically closed but if anyone wants to post I'm not stopping you
These past couple days had been a blur to Madison. She was alive now, stumbled across the winchesters again, new place to live, new people, and catching up on all the things she had missed out on while dead. Dean had a daughter, there was a bunch of kids running around. They still hunted but had a lot more gear, including whatever angel blades were. They had to test to make sure she wasn't a demon or anything, but well silver wouldn't work to test if she was a werewolf just yet, but it tested the possibility of a shifter. Sam had been really helpful these past couple days, and she tended to stick around him mostly because she was most familiar with him. Sure he had changed but right now him and Dean were the two most familiar things she had. She was still getting the hang of actually living again. In purgatory you didn't eat, you didn't sleep, and if you drank you drank out of the river that flowed through it. And that's wasn't always a good idea. You fought constantly and she kept on jumping at every little thing that surprised her. Once she almost tackled Benny when he ran around the corner playing whatever game he had been playing. But Sam was patient. He hadn't been through exactly what she had been through, but had been through something similar and some things oh so much worse. He understood that it took time getting used to life again, not having to fight all day everyday. Having to remember to eat and drink.
Skip to about a week later, and according to Sam today would be the full moon for the first time since she was back.
She hoped she wasn't a werewolf still, that somehow through this resurrection she had returned to being human. She didn't want to have to convince Sam to shoot her again, to go back to that horrible purgatory. She wasn't sure she'd be able to convince herself to try and convince Sam.
They had decided that Sam would remain with her in her room for tonight, as he has the most experience with dealing with her as a werewolf and they didn't want a werewolf on the loose if she were to turn. He was armed with a silver knife in case she did turn, and a silver gun for if she got to put of control if she turned. Sam put the gun in the nightstand drawer, not wanting to think about that possibility. The knife he kept on him, he needed at least some form of self defense if she was to turn, and he preferred it not be something that would kill her. There was a closet he could trap her in until morning if the need arose.
"Hey you ready?" Sam asked her, looking over to the other. Tonight would be the night, and everyone was rooting for her to not be a werewolf. No one wanted her to die, and no one wanted to kill her. "Yeah." she said, climbing into the bed that they would share for the night. She had been using this room since she had got here, Sam sleeping in his own room, but again tonight was different. They remembered that last time when they tried to cure her, when she didn't sleep she didn't turn, so they would make sure she fell asleep.
The bed dipped as Sam got in as well, getting under the blankets as they prepared to go to sleep. They could of gotten a room that had two beds in it but they were both comfortable sharing one, so they did. "Goodnight." Sam would say, stretching over to Madison to place a gentle kiss on her head before returning to his original position. "Goodnight." she would reply, smiling to herself when she felt the kiss. So not everything was lost between them, even after all this time. They would both stay up a little longer, silently thinking to themselves all the what ifs and hoping nothing bad happened. Madison was the first to doze off, her soon steady and slow breathing telling Sam, hey he should probably go to sleep to. So he did, his own breathing falling into a pattern indicating that he too was asleep.
And they just slept. She didn't turn, they just slept peacefully. The next morning she woke up, and in her own bed to. But she didn't get excited yet, she looked around for signs of her possibly exiting the room or anything that could indicate she had turned. She didn't feel like she had turned, there was no injuries on her. Conclusion? She didn't turn.
"Sam? Sam wake up." she said, poking his cheek. This was effective to wake the hunter up, and he blinked open his hazel hued eyes to see Madison, a human Madison at that. She seemed really excited, and happy. He shifted a bit, stretching his arms before saying "What is it Madison?" his brain still fuzzy from sleep. "Sam I didn't turn!" Maddie said excitedly, unable to keep the joy from her voice. She was human again! They wouldn't have to kill her, she wouldn't have to go back to purgatory, oh this was amazing! As soon as the words left her mouth Sam would realize that as well, and a large smile came across his features. He paused a moment, looking for the right words and also slightly scaring Madison. "Madison that's, that's amazing!" Sam ended up saying, overjoyed that he wouldn't have to kill her again. "So when are we going to tell the others?" he asked. Well it'd be kinda obvious that she didn't turn when she walked out of the room unscratched, but it was still good to say it to. Madison thought a moment, making a "hmmm" sound as she did. "Well they're going to ask about it won't they? We should tell them then." she stated, snuggling a bit closer to Sam happily. Then a thought hit her. This meant they could be together. Of course, Madison didn't know of Sam and Fawn's previous relationship, and that the only reason why it was over was that he had his memories of her taken away and she now burned him. She had noticed that something had seemed off about the dog, and that the dog could turn into a human and that made her not human. She also noticed that she wasn't dead, which meant she wasn't technically a monster? She wasn't quite sure but she'd ask eventually. She had also noticed that Fawn seemed generally sad, like she had lost something important to her. Though she was polite and didn't ask about it. Ok enough rambling off topic. "Sounds good." Sam said, not quite wanting to get out of bed just yet. So they would linger a bit longer, having a casual conversation and enjoying each other's company.
Timeskip to breakfast time, everyone was sitting down at the table. Well except for Dean Jr, he wasn't comfortable with that yet. And fawn might be under the table, but other than that everyone was present. Benny sat by Alu, though they were closely watched by Dean, and Sam was sitting next to Madison. On today's menu was just the generic cereal, nothing out of the ordinary. "So how'd it go?" Dean asked, not having to detail what it was. He knew it had to of gone good, that or Sam was just putting off killing her as long as possible. "It went great actually, she didn't turn and I didn't have to use the knife or the gun." Sam said as Madison smiled brightly. Dean was a little skeptical of it in the department of how but ever since Fawn Lark and Benny showed up he was forced to understand that not all things had explanations. "Well that's some good news we all could use." Dean replied, offering Madison a smile. The girl sure seemed happy about it, and hey they could all use some good news. What could possibly go wrong with good news?
