"Yeah, they really need to hire better programmers. I bet I could at least get through their first firewall, if not more, just from my phone." Gavin said, cracking his eyes open and grinning wickedly

"No way." Pebble challenged with a friendly yet competitive glint in her brown eyes. There was no way he could do that... was there?

Gavin chuckled and brought out his phone. Of course it was heavily modified, because face it, no way a regular iPhone seven could hack the pentagon.
"Are you willing to place money on that poppet?" Gavin asked, his fingers ready to begin typing out the long expanses of coding to breach the nation's 'finest' online defense.

No, Pebble didn't have money but, she was an archangel mix! She could just... make it appear! "Are you?" She grinned back, allowing twenty dollars to pop up in her hand. Oh yes. This would be fun.

Only twenty dollars? That was no sweat to him. He wasn't nickname the 'Golden Boy' for nothing. Gavin oulled out his wallet and took out a twenty and set it down on the seat beside him.
"Most definantly. I've bet way more, for far less." Like that one time he bet Jeremy a hundred bucks that the male wouldn't 'borrow' Ray's hoodie. He was not dissappointed when Ray flipped out on the male.

///*when you're tempted to have her use powers just so she proves him wrong.*
Pebble set the money on the dashboard, making sure it didn't go anywhere. She personally didn't care of she won or lost but, she liked betting anyways.

Gavin smirked as his fingers began flying, inputing the necesary codes as he guided himself to the pentagon's servers. Of course DC had long since learned of his hacking, so his usual methids of getting in were blocked.
"Oh! Clever! They somewhat learned!" Gavin said he took a few seconds to look over the code, looking for the weak spot in their coding.

Pebble smirked. "Maybe they've learned just enough that I'll win." She said, eyes watching his movements with much interest.

"Puh lease! The've just made it even better for me? A lot more exciting when I get to try new things!" Gavin said as his fingers began moving once more, inputting lines of code, then cursing under his breath when he would have to backspace when his stubby fingers misclicked. But still he was making good time!

While Pebble couldn't do much and definitely wasn't a hacker, she was still following his movements. They were so fast! Her eyes widened as she watched his fingers zip across the screen putting in codes and such. It was amazing. She bit her lip, admiring the other.

"First Firewall down." Gavin hummed out as he continued on. Honestly he was probably going to delete the crews files, again, once he got in. Not much else to do when you already knew ninety percent of the files.

Pebble didn't realize it but, she was slowly falling for the guy. "Really? That quick? Dude, i just my loose this." She said, actual admiration in her voice. How did he even remember any of the codes? Was that how it even worked?

"don't feel bad! Ryan lost a thousand bucks the first tome he bet I couldn't do this! Jeremy lost even more!" Gavin said, momentarily forgetting his troubles. Momentarilly forgetting the fact that the crew was mostly likely disbanded. They had a hard enough time dealing with the loss of Ryan, Micool, and Ray. The he went and disappeared in front of them. Just for a moment he could forget that his family was even more broken because of him

"Why would they bet that much?" Pebble would snicker. Quite stupid of them, in her opinion. She bet so little only because she knew he could. She knew just what he could do and what he couldn't. Surprisingly.

"Because, he was really confident that I'd lose, that and the crew all had a lot of money, like i probably have at least 100 million in off shore bank accounts. Might be less, might he more. Haven't checked in a while." Gavin said as if it was the most common thing in the world, and to him it was. He was a crimelord by heart.
"Doesn't really matter, not like I really need it or anything." Gavin added with a shrug as he continued his mission.
