Pebble rolled her shoulders, finding it interesting that he brushed it off. "Something bothering ya?" She asked. She didn't know Gavin much but, he didn't seem like the person to just brush things off as if they were nothing.

"Homesick you know? My my crew. They were the closest thing I ever had to a family." Gavin said softly, throwing himself more into attacking the coding, because that's what he did. He threw himself into his work so he didn't have to feel the numbing sorrow. He hated that feeling so much. But unlike a computer or a laptop, his hands were shaking, making it near impossible for him to continue. He should just put his phone down, but he couldn't bring himself to.

And it was with that, Pebble said, screw the mkney, screw the seat belt, and with a gentle flap of her wings, she teleported to sit next to Gavin. Taking note of his shaking hands, she gently laid her hand across his and the phon and gently pushed his hands down so the phone would rest on his lap. "We're all homesick. But, look for comfort in others. I did." Her voice was soft, as if she was waiting to be yelled at or to be a shoulder to cry on.

The act of pushing his phine down gently into his lap reminded him so much of when Geoffrey would come into his office, just to close his laptop and 'order' him to take a breather. It promoted the floodgates to open as he leaned over onto Pebble, hugging her softly.
"I miss them so much. The worst part is they al watched me 'die', so even if I could muster the courage to go Back, I could never see them again." gavin mumbled into her shirt.

At first, Pebble froze a bit. She hadn't actually expected this action. Yet... she did. After just a few seconds she wrapped her arms around him in a comforting hug, hand running up and down his back, a thing her mother did when she cried. It either made her cry more or calmed her down, either would be okay with her. "Ssh. Ssh. It'll be okay, 'kay? You could go back. It's not that hard to say I dragged you out of hell." Despite the way her voice was soft, there was a slight joking matter in the last sentence, trying to lighten his mood and bit despite knowing it probably wouldn't work.

Gavin was grateful for Pebble's comfort, it helped calm his sobbing frame. When was the last time he just let himself have a good cry? Well before the mess that tore out his heart at the very least. Gavin let out a soft chuckle when Pebble said she'd just say she dragged him out of hell.
"Good luck with that. None of them believe in that. Hell, if I hadn't got caught up in this whole mess, I wouldn't believe either. The old Greecian Gods had my loyalty." Gavin said. In an ironic sort of way, this was the most he ever said about the time he had been born, even his crew only got the generalization of 'Ancient Greece to Ancient Romans, pick whichever one you want.' And it certainly didn't help he had used both greek gods and roman gods in swear under his breath.
"But honestly, if I could die at this point, I'd definently be in hell. I've done so much shit. It's not even funny anymore. Heh." Gavin said, the sobs beginning to die down.

Pebble chuckled once, still rubbing his back. Yeah... they probably wouldn't believe until they saw Kishan's true form. However, curiosity rose in her. "Greek Gods? Sam and Fawn had a run in with Aprhodite once... I've posses them all off at least a thousand times." She told him, pulling back with a smile.

"Oh wow. To be honest, Inwasn't even positive they existed. Heh. Goes to show you what kind of magical world we live in." Gavin said. The british slowly disentangled himself from Pebble, offering her a small tired smile.
"Thank you."

At first she showed little to no emotion before tilting her head slightly and smiling back. "Any time, I'm here." She told him, flashing her eyes ember for a second. She felt she could get use to him.

"Like wise poppet." Gavin said before picking up his phone. Brit took a look at the sprawiling code and cursed angrily before his fingers began flying about.
