//DON'T YOU DARE LOGIC ON THIS TIMUR JUST BE SAD K?
Fawnpelt still enjoyed going on hunts. It was what she lived for, kept her busy. This time, it was a case on a demon.
Except when they got there, there was already a hunter. Who was possessed.
Now let me note, Hunters use guns with silver bullets, no? This Demon was using that. Smart.
Except it was pointed straight at Dean. Fawn had made a promise a long time ago to take care of Dean. The snow was cold on her feet as she shifted to her dog form, snowflakes gently falling as the demon laughed, preparing to shoot. Fawnpelt wasn't going to break that promise. She heard the sound if him pulling the lever back, preparing to shoot.
She charged. Snow kicked up behind her as she raced to get there before the bullet. She leapt just as the gun fired, sending the bullet straight out and towards her.
A yelp was heard as well as blood being splattered on the white snow.
Fawnpelt landed limply on the ground, rolling a bit. There was a fiery pain in her chest and she knew she had been shot. She lay there for a while, panting.
Wait.
The pain ebbed away and she took note of the snow still being cold. No blood. She just landed roughly. She raised her head and looked around her, seeing the demon flee. She rose up fully.
Dean was okay.
So where had the bullet gone?
She padded forward a bit before smelling the blood and spotting a black and grey lump in the snow, laying opposite of where she had been. Oh god no.
If there was a camera, it would pan out to above our beloved characters, revealing just who had taken the bullet.
With blood still pooling on the snow and snow flakes landing softly on her pelt, everybody knew who this coonhound was. She had one ear over her eye, as if in sleep, but we knew the truth. It was sad, her cobalt blue eyes would never be revealed. Arwen, she had shown up just in time to take the bullet for her beloved one. Purgatory was her new home for now, while she definitely didn't deserve going there.
