Okay so it was supposed to get cold that night. Like, cold cold. Negatives. Alula had been outside in that cold of weather before but, that was when she was toughened up. Living warmly inside had made her quite the softy. That was probably why her toes were frozen. Earlier, Dean had turned on the heat and actually allowed Kishan inside, after Pebble had sweet talked of course. Since Kishan was inside she had asked to let Benny sleep with her. Denied. Well, Alula was freezing in her bed now, the smell of coffee strong because of Coca trying to keep her warm. Wasn't working. So, she picked her pet up and lightly tapped his head. He understood and turned on glow. Walking past Lucifer, who like never slept, Alula stalked out of her room, open the door as quickly as possible to keep the creaking quiet. Worked! Knowing the halls like the back of her hand, she used her pet as a light and made her way to Benny's room, where she opened it and crept inside, closing the door behind her as it had previously been. She shushed the dogon, knowing he would probably have awoken to her. She knew he slept in his dogon form. It was more comfortable for him and supposedly warmer. So she silently walked his bed and crawled up beside the larger creature. Heh. He was warm. Subconsciously and already half a sleep, she would literally disappear under his wing, pressed against his side where it was warm, the sound of his heart beat soothing.
If only she knew the chaos she would cause.

If Dean was ok with it Benedict wouldn't of had any problem with Alu sleeping with him. He only had the most innocent of intentions, and he didn't understand why Dean didn't approve of their so far secret relationship. Dogs were light sleepers and he had inherited that so of course he woke up when Alula entered the room, blinking to adjust his eyes to the darkness. It was definitely Alu. He was going to question why she was here, it probably wasn't the best idea for her to be, but then she snuggled up by his side under his wing and he let out a small gasp of surprise. He was oblivious to the fact that she was half asleep and would lift his wing just enough so that he could nudge her with his nose, a questioning look on his face.

He nudged, her, prompting an answer to his question. "It's cold." She muttered sleepily, hopefully answering his question as she rolled so her back was to his side and she herself had curled up, using him as a kind of rest. Coca could be found under the blankets, well hidden.

Benny would think a moment, weighing the pro's and con's of the situation. Yes it was cold, but they had told Dean that and he still said no. He certainly didn't want to see how Dean would react if he found out. The male let out a soft sigh, deciding to let her stay. Then he lowered his wing back down but kept his nose tucked under it, so if something were to happen to her he'd know immediately. Of course the fact that she was laying against him would also alert him, but tiredness messed up thought processes so he felt it necessary. It was the thought that counted, as they always say.

Ah yes. He was letting her stay! Smiled as she could still feel his breath on her and she reached out to rub his muzzle before curling up ever tighter, sleep finally taking over her fully. Warmth always did that to ya, made you sleepy. In just a minute, she was happily asleep curled up against Benedict.

Soon enough he senses that she was asleep, her steady breathing told him. Benedict to would soon settle, feeling comfortable with Alu by his side. He too would slip away into a sleep, his own breathing steadying out to indicate that he had fallen into the same state as Alula.

And the next morning. Glorious. Surprisingly, Alula hadn't woken to Dean's fit, to his panic to find his daughter was missing. Nooo, instead her face was pressed into the warm fur of Benedict, obviously enoying the amazing warmth Benny offered.

Speaking of Dean... At first when he didn't see Alula he didn't panic. Maybe she was sleeping in, he had no problem with that. Then it got to the point where he knew she would be up by now, and something bad likely happened. Where was the first place he went to try and confirm his suspicion? Alula's bedroom. The door was wide open so there was no need to knock, and he quickly saw that the covers seemed to be thrown off. He assumed the bad possibility. So he went and gently pressed the palm of his hand into the bed to see if it had been occupied recently. Cold, she hadn't been here for at least a good few hours. His fears turned into a more panic like state, not wanting to bear the thought that his own daughter had been taken right from underneath his nose. "SAMMY!" he shouted, quickly drawing the attention of his younger brother. Maybe Dean was too quick to assume, but he wasn't taking chances. She had already been horrifically tortured once and he did not want that happening again. Sam would soon appear on the scene, a gun in hand. Dean quickly caught him up on what he thought had happened, and didn't give him much time to think before he set off to get more information. He knew that Benedict was close to Alula, and had better senses in dogon form, so he might know more about any possible disappearances. So he was heading in the direction of Benedict's room, and when he got there he didn't even bother to knock. He tried to doorknob and when it was unlocked he quickly pushed it open, causing the slumbering other to quickly wake up with a jolt. His head quickly left its place where it was keeping an eye on Alula, blue eyes going wide as he saw Dean and Sam behind him with a gun, assuming the worst that it could mean. He missed the fact that Dean's state was more panicky than angry, and that Sam's gun was pointed down and not ready to shoot with a simple pull of a trigger, and would think that he somehow found out about how Alula came to him last night and was currently curled up besides him. This caused him to become very uncomfortable and he would gently shift to curl a bit tighter around his girlfriend, as if trying to protect her from the perceived threat.

The door being open, yeah that didn't wake her. Instead, she continued to remain deep in sleep, drool on her cheek, a strand of hair stuck to her face by the drool. However, Benedict moving would of course wake her, as she was pressed against him. She sleepily opened her eyes, drowsy still. And, she moved just a bit, trying to wake herself up and figure out was going on. But, Benedict was so waaaarrmm.
