No matter how much control one thought they had over a place, there was always someone, something they couldn't.
In hell, that would be a hushed group of demons determined to break the seals to let lucifer out. They were determined to see the apocalypse go through, determined to let luci have his revenge even if they weren't totally up to date about his feelings for humans. When you cut off communications, you didn't have anything coming in either.
It had been hard to break the last one, a road bump of sorts. That's what took so long. Technically it was Lilith who had to die, but she was already dead. So they did their best and killed to second oldest, his name lost in history and known only to a few.
Over in the cage, lucifer could feel the bonds keeping him in breaking. Feel the cages hold o him weakening. It was part of how he could slip his arms through the bars. Though he'd never admit this to anyone of course.
It had been a normal day to begin with in the cage, if it even had a concept of night and day. He would sit there, thinking whatever thoughts ran through his mind, wondering how his family was doing up on earth, wondering if his brothers and sisters had found out enough information to put them in true danger. The usual. Why wouldn't it be?
And then the unordinary happened.
The door started making sounds, creaking and crackling, slowly but surely swinging open. A bright light would shine through, a light familiar from the last time this had happened. The devil was instantly alert, a little suspicious of how in the world this could be happening, but alert nontheless. However supisicious or wary he was, there was no way he'd pass up a chance to get out of this literal hellhole. So quickly and swiftly, as soon as the door was open enough, he stepped out and allowed himself to be warped away.
It was a bit painful, being forced out of his vessel in the process, but definitly worth it. He allowed himself to be flung out, to be warped around and rise up to his entry point of the world. As soon as he was there, the human race would see this as a tall, bright beam of light exactly like the one last time. Soon enough he regained control of where he was going, and would take full advantage of that and search for the vessel known as Nick.
It was simple, just like last time. He'll Nick was even in the same emerald area as last time, albeit confused as crap as to what had happened. A bit of sweet talk, manipulate his appearance, promise of an explanation, and he was in. This vessel wouldn't hold him for too long but it would do for now.
Next, to find his family. His spouse and his kids, the ones he loved the most. This didn't take too long either, and it would only be a matter of hours since his return and he was going good. Last time this had taken much, much longer. The location of the bunker was well known to the fallen archangel, and it was a simple teleport wing flap and he was there, a soft smile upon his lips as he gazed upon the area. Now just to let it be known he was there.
Unlike his brother Zabdiel, Lucifer did not crash the doors down for his entrance. Instead he simply made another teleport and would be inside, the gentle sound of wings folding following him as he landed. Since the time he had noticed the light Alula would notice that he seemed to of vanished from her view, for he wanted to focus on what seemed more important now. Besides, she would get a good sleep out of it the poor thing. He had yet to figure out fully just how his younger siblings had personified him in their little dream world, but judging by her reaction it hadn't been good. She would notice that unlike the dream world, his actions would be geared more towards helping her, offering her assistance when he thought it may be needed. Being polite. She may of noticed that if she asked him to leave he tended to leave her alone for a bit, even if he was back later. No hallucinations, other than the one if him in her view. Anyways. Lucifer would gaze around a bit, making a last minute decision as to how he would be known. Oh hey, Sammy would definitely enjoy this one.
With a quick snap of his fingers, Lucifer hacked into the speakers of the bunker- the ones that normally played the alarm. However he wouldn't play an alarm. He would shout "Good morning Vietnam!" in that time those who knew him would find unforgettable. Which would be all of the Winchesters and of course his family, unless one of the others had found a way to hack into one of the Winchester's memories and get it that way.
